Is Mercury an inner Or Outer Planet?
Mercury is an inner planet because its the closest to the sun in our solar system.

What is Mercury's Diameter?
The Diameter is smaller than Jupiter's moon. It is 4,879 KM at its equator.

Does Mercury Have Moons?
-Mercury have no moons.

-Compostition: Molten Core, High Iron.
-It orbits around the sun every 88 days
-It takes 59 days to rotate.

More Facts about Mercury:
Crust is 100-300 Km Thick
Mantle is 600 Km Thick
Core i s 1,800 Km Miles

-Mercury's Surface overall is very similar in appearance to that of the moon. Mercury have heavy cratering, which means that is had been inactive for billions of years.

-Completes three rotations about the axis for every two orbits.

-Mercury has the smallest axial tilt.

Mercury is 801 Fahrenheit
-300 Degrees Faharenheit (On the side away from the sun) to about 800 Degrees Fahrenheit.
-Mercury is 400 degrees C at noon and -170 degrees C at night

-Must move very fast to stay in orbit and not fall into the sun.
-Speed balances Sun's Gravity
-A day on Mercury is twice as long as a year on Mercury.

Mercury is basically is made of Iron and has a thin rock layer.

Thin Atmosphere:
-Very Thin Atmosphere of Atoms blasted off its surface by the solar wind.
-Because its so hot, the atoms quickly escape in space.

-Mercury doesn't have any rings.

-One Interesting fact about Mercury is that it is the most cratered planet in our solar system.
